As the first team is set to kick off its home opener in MLS this Saturday, the Impact Academy U16 and U18 teams will resume action in the United States Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) on Sunday, following a three month winter sabbatical.
Both teams travel to Syracuse to take on the Revolution Empire, at Onondaga Community College Field, on Sunday. The older group will play at noon (ET) and the younger side will kick off at 2:30pm (ET).
The Impact U16 has 18 points in 15 games played so far (5-7-3), but currently sits behind the Revolution in 7th spot having played five more games. Midfielder David Choinière (8 goals) and forward Claudio Di Zazzo (7 goals) lead the team in scoring.
The U18s are 2-6-7, good for 8th place with a total of 13 points. Striker Charles Joly leads the team with five goals in 11 starts.
