AT&T MLS Goal of the Week: Week 9
Impact midfielder Andrés Romero has been nominated for the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week, following his superb strike against the Chicago Fire last Saturday, at Stade Saputo.
Romero scored the winning goal - his first of the season - in the 2-0 win over the Fire, beating goalkeeper Sean Johnson with a powerful shot to the top right corner. The Argentine midfielder took advantage of a pass from Pisanu on the left wing, before beating defender Logan Pause inside the box and unleashing an unstoppable strike.
