MONTREAL – FC Montreal winger Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla has been named Player of the Week in the USL after his performances in a 4-1 win against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and a 3-1 win against the Charleston Battery.
The 17-year-old scored one goal and delivered two assists against the Riverhounds on Wednesday, August 10, at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex. He tallied again on Saturday, August 13, in Charleston against the Battery, adding another assist as well.
Montreal Impact forward Anthony Jackson-Hamel was also named to the bench of the Team of the Week after recording two goals and an assist in these two games.
