MONTREAL - CF Montréal announced on Monday the acquisition of Bulgarian Canadian midfielder Dominic Iankov via permanent transfer from Bulgarian first division club Ludogoretz Razgrad. Iankov has signed a three-year deal for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 seasons, with two option years in 2027 and 2028, using Targeted Allocation Money.

Born in Toronto, Iankov is a 23-year-old midfielder who began his career with Toronto's Power FC academy before heading to Europe where he joined England's Sunderland academy in 2013.
