The Bleu-blanc-noir will attempt to qualify for their first Final since 2023, when the Club eliminated Forge FC to take on the Whitecaps, and a ninth in Club history since the TELUS Canadian Championship’s creation in 2008. In the event of a tie at the end of 90 minutes, the game will go to an extra time period. A penalty shootout will follow, if necessary. The winner of this semifinal will host the Final on Oct. 21.
In the first leg played on Sept. 2 at BC Place, Dani Pereira scored his first goal for the Club with a strike from the centre circle to give his side an early lead in the 16th minute. Whitecaps midfielder Ryan Gauld found an equalizer in the 72nd minute and the match concluded in a 1-1 draw.
