CF Montréal on the road to take on Toronto FC this Saturday

TORONTO, Ontario - CF Montréal will continue its cadence of one match every three days as the Club visits Toronto FC on Saturday evening at BMO Field at 7:30pm EDT (MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, TSN 690).

The Montrealers are set to play their first Canadian Classique of the year against their rivals who sit sixth in the Eastern Conference after 13 games.

Montreal's regular season record in Ontario is 5-6-4, along with a goal differential of -2. On the Club's last visit to BMO Field, CF Montréal earned a 3-2. Mathieu Choinière registered a brace.

Toronto, under the new leadership of former Canadian national team manager John Herdman, was also in action on Wednesday, losing 2-0 away to Nashville SC. The Reds are 4-2-0 at home this season. The team will also host CS Saint-Laurent (Ligue1 Québec) on May 21 in the second leg of the Canadian Championship quarterfinals. Toronto holds a 3-0 aggregate lead.

The Bleu-blanc-noir will be continuing their stretch of eight games in 25 days in May. The Montrealers take on their derby rivals before playing the second leg of the Canadian Championship quarterfinals on May 22 at Stade Saputo against Forge FC. The Club then hosts Nashville SC three days later. Finally, Laurent Courtois' men round off the month by hosting D.C. United on May 29.
