MONTREAL - CF Montréal announced Friday the signing of its newest eSports player, Alix Largerie, known as Loux11. The 23-year-old Montrealer, who joins the Club on a transfer from the eSports team of Bundled, with who he won the FIFA Global Series Qualifiers #5 in North America, has signed a deal through 2023 with an option year in 2024.
“Representing CF Montréal has always been in the back of my mind. The day I knew there was an opportunity, I didn't hesitate for a second,” said the player who will now go by CFMTL_Loux11. “Being able to represent my city and feel supported by the fans of the Club I love motivates me even more for this season. I’m proud to have the chance to represent my Club in FIFA 22.”
Originally from St-Pierre-et-Miquelon, France, Loux11 moved to Montreal in 2016 and is studying management in the business administration program at UQAM. He has ranked sixth in North America on FIFA21.
2022 will be eMLS’ fifth season, as well as the fifth year of the Club's involvement this competition. LyesMTL, and Mehdibob3 had previously been Montreal’s representatives in 2018-2019 and 2020-2021, respectively. CF Montréal would like to thank Mehdibob3 for his last two seasons.
Note that the eSports container is now back at Stade Saputo and will be accessible every match day for the remainder of the season, in the BMO Célébration Soccer Zone.
