FRISCO, Texas – CF Montréal will play the second of six consecutive away games this Saturday, visiting FC Dallas at 8:30pm EST at Toyota Stadium (MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, CJAD 800).
After a point earned from last Saturday's 0-0 draw with Orlando City SC, the Montrealers will visit a Western Conference team for the first time in the regular season since April 29, 2023, when the team took on Sporting Kansas City at Children's Mercy Park.
With a 0-4-1 away record against Dallas, Montreal will be looking for a first win at Toyota Stadium. The Montrealers will also seek to improve on their 1-5-3 overall record against the Texans since the Club's entry into MLS.
As for the opponent, FC Dallas hosted the San Jose Earthquakes in the team’s home opener last Saturday. Dallas overcame a 1-0 deficit to secure a 2-1 victory late in the game thanks to Dante Sealy's stoppage-time winner (95'). Asier Illaramendi, formerly of Real Sociedad and Real Madrid, had scored the equalizer. The Basque midfielder was acquired by Dallas on August 3.
