CHARLOTTE, NC – CF Montréal heads south for a clash with Charlotte FC at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Wednesday at Bank of America Stadium (Apple TV, TSN 690).
The Montrealers hold an all-time record of 5-3-1 (13 goals scored, 8 goals conceded) against Charlotte, including a 2-1-1 record (6 goals scored, 3 goals conceded) on the road.
Dean Smith’s squad sits 5th in the Eastern Conference with 47 points, four points shy of 4th place Chicago Fire FC which holds the last spot securing home field advantage in the MLS Cup playoffs. Charlotte fell 3-2 on the road to the Portland Timbers over the weekend thanks to Alexander Aravena’s game-winning goal in stoppage time.
Forward Daniel RĂos is approaching the 10-goal mark in all competitions. If the Mexico City native finds the back of the net in Charlotte, he would become the 11th player in Club history to score 10 or more goals in a single season.Â
Dante Sealy recorded his first MLS brace to help the Bleu-blanc-noir to a 4-1 victory in CF Montréal's most recent visit to Bank of America Stadium on Sept. 27, 2025. The American is one goal away from his 10th with the Club.
