CF Montréal will play at Stade Saputo in August

MONTREAL - CF Montréal and MLS have announced on Friday that the Club will be able to host its August home games at Stade Saputo, just like it did for the first time on Saturday, July 17.

MLS teams will continue to abide by the cross-border public health protocols enacted on July 5 by the Canadian government, which are required by all individuals entering the country. In accordance with the national protocols, fully vaccinated players and staff are not subject to a quarantine period, however, all individuals must conduct molecular COVID-19 testing prior to travel and upon arrival in Canada.

CF Montréal will play three games at Stade Saputo in August: Wednesday, August 4, at 7:30pm, against Atlanta United FC, Saturday, August 14, at 8pm, against the New York Red Bulls, and Friday, August 27, at 7:30pm, against Toronto FC.

MLS remains in communication with the Canadian government regarding plans for MLS Canadian teams to host their remaining home matches in Canada pursuant to a National Interest Exemption.

According to public health guidelines for public activities and outdoor events in Quebec, the maximum allowed capacity is currently 5,000 spectators.

Tickets for these games will be available in priority for our season ticket Members, who can use their Membership credit to confirm their tickets online. For all Members to get a fair opportunity of obtaining tickets, it will be possible to confirm seats at the start of the presale period, on a first come, first served basis. More information on the Member Presale will be communicated to Members in the coming days. If tickets are still remaining after the Member presale, individual tickets will be made available for purchase to the general public, with priority given to fans who have joined CF Montréal’s Individual Ticket Priority List.

However, if permitted capacity is increased to a large enough number to accommodate all Members, tickets for these matches will be automatically uploaded into CFM Member Portals, using remaining Membership credits. If this is the case, Members will be assigned seats in the most accurate equivalent seating category, section and row to the ones initially purchased and no further action will be required. Individual tickets will then go on sale to the general public, with priority given to fans who have joined CF Montréal’s Individual Ticket Priority List.
