He replaces teammate Daniel Kinumbe in the roster
MONTREAL – Midfielder Clément Bayiha has been added to the MLS Homegrown Game roster, taking place on Tuesday, July 30, at 5pm, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, near Orlando. Bayiha will replace Daniel Kinumbe on the roster, after the defender saw his season come to an end due to a left meniscus injury.
The young players from MLS will face Chivas de Guadalajara’s U20 team, champion of the Liga MX U20 league.
Bayiha, 20, has recorded one assist in eight games, including three starts and 370 minutes of play, in his first MLS season. He joined the first team on November 16 after three seasons with the club’s academy.
The MLS All-Star Game will be played the following day, on Wednesday, July 31, at 8pm, against Atlético Madrid, from La Liga, at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando (TVA Sports, TSN).
