MONTREAL – Defender Daniel Lovitz has been selected by the United States national team to participate in two international friendly games, against Mexico on September 6, at Metlife Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey, before facing Uruguay, on September 10, at Busch Stadium, in St. Louis.
Lovitz, 28, has played eight games with the United States national team, making his international debut on January 27, 2019, in a friendly against Panama. He also played three games in the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup, appearing against Jamaica in the semifinals round, and then against Mexico in the final.
