  • The Impact is undefeated in its last three games (2-0-1), including a 0-0 draw with the Union in Philadelphia last weekend. In that draw on the road, goalkeeper Troy Perkins earned his eighth shutout of the season.

  • Perkins is quietly having another solid season. He’s tied for second in MLS with 12 wins and third with 83 saves.

  • Striker Marco Di Vaio still leads the league in scoring with 15 goals, one more than Camilo from Vancouver and Mike Magee from Chicago.

  • Midfielder and DP Hernán Bernardello, who will miss four to six weeks with a sprained left ankle, and defender Adrian Lopez, who suffered a knee injury in training midweek, will not be available.

  • Impact head coach Marco Schällibaum returns to the bench after serving a two game suspension following an incident during his team’s 2-1 over D.C. United at Stade Saputo on August 3.
