Read the postgame reactions from head coach Frank Klopas, forward Andrew Wenger and defender Jeb Brovsky, following the 3-2 loss in Dallas, on Saturday.
Frank Klopas
"It's hard to win when you give up three goals and I think there are some situations we could have avoided tonight," said head coach Frank Klopas. "We'll have to watch the tape, correct things and get ready for next week. We pushed the game, created a lot of chances early on and could have been up by two.”
Andrew Wenger
"It's good to start the year with a goal but it's disappointing not to win the game as I feel we did well tonight for a large portion of the game," said forward Andrew Wenger. "There were certain moments where we weren't sharp enough at both ends. It's the first game of the year and unfortunately bad bounces happen."
Jeb Brovsky
"Every guy feels unfortunate that we didn't get more out of this game. Being away from home, I think we pressed pretty well, had our chances and their goalkeeper came up with some big saves. We're not happy at all but I think it's a nice building block to start the season and head forward to Houston."
