MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced on Thursday that Ghanaian midfielder James Bissue has joined the club, before the roster freeze deadline. As per MLS policy, details of the deal were not disclosed.
Bissue, 23, recently played for clubs Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League and SekondiEleven Wise in Division One. He made his professional debut in the 2009/2010 season with club Hapoel Be’er Shava, in the Israeli Premier League, before being loaned to Maccabi Umm al-Fahm in the Israeli second division in 2011/2012.
At the international level, Bissue played five games with the Ghana U20 National Team, taking part in the U20 Africa Cup in South Africa in 2011. He was also part of the U17 selection.
