MONTREAL – CF Montréal announced Thursday that midfielder Ilias Iliadis has been loaned to Atlético Ottawa of the Canadian Premier League for the remainder of the 2024 season.
This will be Iliadis’ second loan stint in the nation’s capital. In 2023, the midfielder collected 888 minutes of game time in 12 Canadian Premier League matches, most notably scoring the game-winner for Ottawa against Forge FC in the team’s final regular season match.
Born in Toronto, Iliadis signed with the Bleu-blanc-noir in January 2023.
He played his minor soccer with the Scarborough Olympic Flame SC. Following a camp in Greece with English Club Arsenal’s Academy in January 2015, he joined Greek club Panathinaikos’ Academy. In August 2021, he joined Panathinaikos B, playing a total of 34 games and scoring two goals in the Greek Super League 2.
