MONTREAL – Major League Soccer announced on Monday that Impact midfielder Patrice Bernier has been selected as an MLS All-Star by head coach Peter Vermes ahead of the AT&T MLS All-Star game versus AS Roma on July 31, at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas (TSN, RDS).

In his second season in MLS, Bernier is currently tied for the league lead with four game-winning assists, totalling two goals and five assists in 18 games, including 15 starts. He has been a steady presence in midfield for his hometown club, playing in the Impact’s last 34 games - an MLS team record.
