This holiday season, the Montreal Impact Soccer Schools (SoSc) builds upon its tradition of development and fun in the provincial capital as it is set to hold its seventh annual Holiday Clinic in Quebec City, on December 27.
“It was always fun going to Quebec City before the holidays,” said Mauro Biello, who founded the first edition of the soccer schools back in 2005. “Quebec City is a huge soccer market and we are always well received. There are a lot of talented kids in Quebec and it gives is a chance to see some of the local talent up there as well.”

The SoSc has become a strong soccer presence in la vieille capitale and for the last two years, some 350 young players have laced up their boots on training day.
“The Clinic last year was an amazing experience,” said SoSc director Olivier Brett. “The kids learned a lot, had plenty of fun and went back home with a head full of memories. I expect the same this year... only better.”
This event at Stade Chauveau offers young players the chance to experience a day in the life of a Montreal Impact Academy player. Participants will take away an accelerated learning program, strong work habits, a positive mentality on top of the unforgettable memories and technical, tactical and physical skills they will absorb.
Quebec City has become an annual destination for the SoSc and the city is well-represented on the Impact Academy teams.
For $87 (plus taxes), young players born between 1996 and 2006 will each get an Adidas ball and t-shirt as part of their experience. Participants born between 2002 and 2006 will take to the pitch from 9am to noon; those born between 1996 and 2001 will train from 1:30 to 4:30pm.
