MONTREAL – The Impact U14 flew to Costa Rica to participate in the prestigious Concacaf U13 Champions League, from August 10 to 17, for a fifth consecutive year.
The team is coached by Eduardo Sebrango and finds itself in group A with Santa Ana (Salvador), San Juan Jabloteh (Trinidad and Tobago) and Guerreros (Mexico). The Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the Philadelphia Union are the other two MLS clubs participating.
The first two teams of each of the four groups will make it to the quarterfinals. Last year, LAFC won the competition.
