The U18 and U16 Impact teams were on the road for the last time of the season in USSDA, facing the New England Revolution and FC Bolts Celtic.

The Impact U18, coached by Jason Di Tullio, is still first out of 77 North American teams in the USSDA general standings, with a record of 20-2-2. The group was successful in its last trip of the season, winning both games: 3-0 to New England and 4-1 to FC Bolts Celtic. Badreddine Boulajoul scored a brace in the first game while Pierre Lamothe did the same in the second. The team also performed well defensively, giving up only one goal.

On the U16 side, it was a little bit more difficult. While Wilfried Nancy’s team scored first against New England, the American team came back to win 3-2. Against the FC Bolts, the Impact came back to make it 1-1 in the second half, but allowed two more goals, falling 3-1.

“A series of two games in two days is always difficult to play,” explained Impact U16 head coach Wilfried Nancy. “At the end of the season, it is not easy for both teams. Against New England, our game was interesting. We were rarely dominated in terms of content. But teams we face punish us on our individual mistakes in the game.”

Both teams will play on the synthetic field at Stade Saputo on Saturday May 30 against BW Gottschee Academy. The Impact U18 will play at 11am, while the Impact U16 will be in action at 1:30pm.
