MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced Monday that Finland international midfielder Lassi Lappalainen would undergo shoulder surgery on Wednesday, in Italy.
Lappalainen had suffered an injury in the game against Columbus on October 7. He will miss the rest of the season.
The Impact will pay its next game on Saturday at 7:30PM EDT (TVA Sports, TSN, 98,5fm, TSN 690) against New York City FC, at Yankee Stadium.
