US national team striker Jordan Morris and Impact draft pick Eric Verso were teammates on Stanford’s 2015 national championship team.
While Morris is already played seven games with the US senior national team and just had a successful trial with Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, Verso, may be flying under the radar as the midfielder’s 13 assists - second best in the nation in 2015 – were behind a number of Morris’ 13 goals and was a huge part of Stanford’s success.
