VANCOUVER, British Columbia – CF Montréal lost 5-0 to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Saturday, at BC Place.
Following an injury to team captain Samuel Piette in the 10th minute and the ejection of defender Rudy Camacho in the 23rd minute, the Whitecaps scored three goals at the end of the first half from Brian White (38’), Simon Becher (43’) and Julian Gressel (45’).
Then in the second half, Ali Ahmed scored at the 48th minute and Becher scored his second goal of the game at the 59th minute.
CF Montréal will play its upcoming game on Saturday, April 8 at 7:30pm against the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium (Apple MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, CJAD 800), and will then play its home opener at Stade Saputo on Saturday, April 15, at 7:30pm against D.C. United (Apple MLS Season Pass, RDS, TSN, BPM Sports, TSN 690).

The match was already over, even at halftime being down 3-0, and playing with 10 men. At that point we are starting to think about the next match, but also giving minutes to some players to see if they're ready and if you can count on them for the next matches.”
