LAURENT COURTOIS
“There will always be individual inconsistencies. That happens. But most of the time there will be good play. What hurts is the “after 40 minutes”. It's tough. That's when the games turned. I'm disappointed for the fans. We were leading 2-0 and we lost at home. I'm disappointed and it hurts. Still, we're pleased with the performance and the quality of the movements. Allowing ourselves to limit turnovers against the two best players of the decade in their positions... The guys stepped up in their intentions.”
BRYCE DUKE
“Unfortunately, we couldn’t hold on to our lead. But it shows we have quality and can do things with the ball. We need to keep going in this direction and get results. It was good to score tonight, but the result was more important. It would have been better to take all three points. It's going to be a tough month ahead. It will be important to recover and be ready for Wednesday. It's a great achievement to contain Messi after his performance last week. To be able to limit him offensively is an achievement. Now the aim will be to keep the lead next time and play the full 90 minutes.”
JULES-ANTHONY VILSAINT
“Playing against Messi is an experience to remember my whole life. To be able to play against him... I don't have the words to describe the moment. But I'm still disappointed with the result. It hurts because we worked well as a team. We pressed hard. We could have been better on certain counter-attacks, but we're learning and we'll carry on. We were good defensively, but there were times when we lost our concentration and we paid for it. I worked hard to make my comeback and get more minutes. It feels good.”
