HERNÁN LOSADA
“ It is never easy to play games here. Kansas is a team to respect, but we played a solid game. The quality of possession is important. The first goal is an exceptional goal built from good combinations. When we recover the ball, we have to keep hurting the opponent. With games like tonight, we regain confidence.”
MATHIEU CHOINIÈRE
“I just try to help the team. I can be decisive and help on the defensive side too. With the collective effort, we leave with the three points tonight. I am on the field to create spaces and recover second balls. I get along very well with the other midfielders. My teammates push me every day to improve.”
JOEL WATERMAN
“This first road win is huge for our morale. We want to return to last year’s standard. Our goal was to pick up points so we are really pleased with tonight’s result. Things are starting to come together on the defensive side too. A win changes a mentality more than people think. The result against Vaughan helped a lot. It is a mindset we need to work on every day. We were able to bring the mentality from the Canadian Championship into our MLS matches and it is a standard we want to set for the remainder of the season.”
