WILFRIED NANCY
“I think we had a good game. We were better with the ball. What we lacked was in the last third where we could have made better choices. They were sharper on their chances, but in terms of what we wanted to do, it was good. But I wish we created a few more chances against them. New York is a good team with good players, but I’m still not satisfied.”
BJORN JOHNSEN
“I think we created a lot of chances in the first half. But I feel like we should have tied the game. They scored a weird goal and got away with it. We’re a little bit bummed out, but that’s it. If we had put our goals away, we would have been talking about a different topic. It’s three games in a week, now onto the next one.”
JOEL WATERMAN
“We were undefeated in our last six games. We never want to lose, but all credit to New York. It’s a good team. I’m proud of the way we fought. I thought our possession was good. In some way we were a little bit naive on the ball. It’s a shame that we gave away that goal and that it was the decider.”
