For a fourth consecutive week, an Impact player has been nominated for the AT&T Goal of the Week, and this time, it comes from the right foot of Designated Player Marco Di Vaio.
The Italian striker was on the end of a Patrice Bernier through-ball in the penalty area, and curled the ball into the top right corner past DC. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid. Di Vaio's goal in the 24th minute of play would prove to be the game-winner as the Impact went on to beat D.C. United by a scoreline of 3-0 at Stade Saputo, on Saturday.
