CARSON, California - In its fifth game of the MLS Reserve League season, the Montreal Impact earned a 1-0 win versus Chivas USA, Sunday, at StubHub Center’s Field 6. Defender Futty Danso converted a penalty kick which was the game-winning goal.
Danso scored in the 23rd minute following a foul by Andrew Jean-Baptiste inside the box on forward Anthony Jackson-Hamel.
Impact goalkeeper Evan Bush registered the shutout. In the 60th minute, Bush came out strong when forward Kristopher Tyrpak got a breakaway. Bush made another important save five minutes later blocking Tyrpak attempt.
