Judy Yankowski has been a police officer for several years and continuously contributes to community development and outreach programs as a member of the Montreal Police force. She has piloted Montreal’s SPVM World Cup of Soccer for five years now, where more than 1,200 youngsters participate each year.
This project is aimed at developing relationships with the youth from different disadvantaged neighborhoods within the city, while counteracting problems related to street gangs, delinquency, difficulty learning and dropping out of school.
