In partnership with the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec (RJCCQ), that includes most notably Chinese, French, Haitian, Latin-American, African and Maghreb youth chambers of commerce, the Montreal Impact is benefitting from its match against Chivas USA on Sunday in order to celebrate and honour the multi-cultural communities. A number of special activities have been planned as part of the celebration.
An international theme
Food with an international theme will be available for purchase in conjunction with the day’s events, including:
Mexican, Italian and General Tao Poutine
Shanghai chicken wings
Beef burritos
Beef burgers with salsa, lime & mango
General Tao vegetables and noodles
Vegetable curry
Chicken with yogurt sauce

Israeli couscous
Bifana sandwich
Also on the program will be some authentic international dance and sounds filling the stadium.
Le Fonds de solidarité FTQ will be presenting a group of some 10 musicians that will be vibrating the stadium with Latin sounds, underneath section 128, from the time the gates open at 5:30pm until kickoff and during halftime.
A Haitian percussionist group will be on hand as well.
Also, a Brazilian percussionist group of eight musicians will perform some native samba music, among others, with two Brazilian dancers on hand at the main entrance from 5:30 until 7pm to complete the authentic feeling of the beautiful South American nation.
