Un joueur en colère and C’est moi le meilleur available at Montreal Impact boutiques
The first two volumes of the Objectif l’Impact youth book series, published by Éditions de la Bagnole, will be launched at Stade Saputo before the game against Columbus Crew SC (TICKETS – TVA Sports, 98,5FM and TSN Radio 690), this Saturday, May 13, at 5pm, at a cost of $12.95 per book. One dollar for each book sold will be given to the Montreal Impact Foundation.
Emmanuel Lauzon, author of the Un joueur en colère volume, and Pierre Szalowski, who wrote C'est moi le meilleur!, will be at Stade Saputo for a book signing session. Supporters will also be able to benefit from a photo booth to create their very own personalized player card, under section 133, from the opening of the doors at 3:30pm; the same cards of both volumes’ heroes that are on the back cover of the books.
C’est moi le meilleur! (I Am the Best)
Maxime and Diego are worlds apart. One is tall, the other is short. One comes from a wealthy family, the other from a working-class household. One loves Ronaldo, the other is all about Lionel Messi. The only common thread? Both have been admitted into the Impact Academy. But their rivalry is such – they won’t even pass the ball to one another – that they are both in danger of being sent home. Only a miracle would bring these two together. But Claudio, the Academy’s mental strength coach, is up to something…
Author: Pierre Szalowski

His first novel, Fish Change Direction in Cold Weather (Hurtubise, 2007), achieved outstanding success. C’est moi le meilleur! is his first book published by Les Éditions de la Bagnole.
Un joueur en colère (The Anger of a Player)
Miguel, 12, is racking up the cards, both yellow and red, unsettling his team to the point that it is dropping in the standings. Everyone want to rally around Miguel, but no one can quite figure out what’s bothering him – until the coaches understand that, before they help the kid, they’ll have to help his dad…
