The Montreal Impact hosted its first Open House since the reopening of Stade Saputo last Thursday, and the turnout exceeded expectations.

Some 600 fans crossed the gates for a guided tour of Stade Saputo and even had the chance to walk on the pitch and visit the players’ locker room.

“We were very pleased with the number of Impact fans that showed up to the first open house,” said Impact executive vice-president Richard Legendre. “Those in attendance demonstrated a lot of interest and enthusiasm for their club, and we hope that interest continues with future events like this one.”

Due to its success, the Impact has decided to extend the event, starting with this Thursday, July 12, from 5 to 7pm. All the benefits of the first open house will once again be available, including the opportunity to take pictures in the players’ locker room and on the coach’s post-game press conference stage as well as a draw to win great prizes.

Visitors will be given a guided tour by the club’s sales staff, which lasts 30 minutes. They will be introduced to all the important additions to the stadium, including the mezzanine, the coaches’ dugout on the pitch, and the revamped player’s locker room.

Beverages will be offered to visitors, by Oasis.

The Impact VP will also be on hand to conclude the tour with a short speech and question and answer period. It will be the perfect time to ask him anything!

Don’t miss this great event!
