MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact (9-4-4) will try to end a three-game winless streak as it travels to New York to take on the Red Bulls (8-7-4) this Saturday at 7pm (ET), at Red Bull Arena. Saturday’s matchup will mark the first game of the second half of the 2013 season for the Impact, which after 17 games, sits in first place in the Eastern Conference with 31 points – one ahead of second place Sporting Kansas City and three ahead of New York.
Head-to-Head
This is the third and final matchup of the season between the two clubs. The Impact took the first game at home with a 1-0 shutout victory on March 23 at Olympic Stadium, while the Red Bulls won the second meeting in New York 2-1 on May 8.

Impact news
In its last game on the road, the Impact tied Toronto FC 3-3, on Wednesday, July 3, at BMO Field and then played Chivas USA to a 1-1 draw last Sunday at Stade Saputo.
Midfielder Justin Mapp has returned to full training and could be an option for head coach Marco Schällibaum.
Designated Player Marco Di Vaio is tied for the league lead in scoring with 11 goals and will look to add to his totals, having scored three times over his career versus the Red Bulls.
At the halfway point of the season, only two Impact players have started all 17 games for the Impact: goalkeeper Troy Perkins and midfielder Felipe. This will be Perkins’ 26th consecutive start since joining the club last season.

Third in games played for defenders with the Impact (36), games started (35) and minutes played (3,097), Hassoun Camara leads all defenders in goals (4), assists (2), shots (28), and shots on goal (10).
New York Red Bulls news
The Red Bulls have won just once in their last five games, losing four times to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, New England Revolution, the Philadelphia Union and most recently, to the Colorado Rapids by a cumulative score of 11-3.
In its last matchup versus the Rapids, the Red Bulls were shutout 2-0 on the road last Sunday. Their only win over the five-game stretch came against the Houston Dynamo at home on June 30.
RBNY striker Thierry Henry, whose six goals and two assists, was named to the Fan XI All-Stars as voted on by fans.
The Red Bulls and Brazilian midfielder Juninho parted ways as both parties mutually agreed to terminate the contract of the team’s assist leader (4).
Midfielder Tim Cahill is rounding in to form. It took the Australian national team captain 10 games to open his account in 2013, but has since managed four goals and one assist in eight games played, helping lift the Red Bulls to contention for top spot in the Eastern Conference.
With defender Roy Miller, away on national team duty (Costa Rica), and Heath Pierce, on the sidelines, sophomore Connor Lade has been reinserted into the starting lineup over the last two games.
Goalkeeper Luis Robles has started and played every single minute for the Red Bulls in 2013 (19 games). He has earned five shutouts and is in the top 10 in the league with a 1.26 goals against average.
