FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts – The Montreal Impact (12-7-6) travels to Foxborough, Massachusetts to face off against the New England Revolution (10-9-7) this Sunday, at 7:30pm ET, at Gillette Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on TVA Sports and is available online with illico web, illico mobile and MLS Live. The Impact sits as co-leaders of the Eastern Conference standings with 42 points from 25 games played, tied with Sporting Kansas City and the New York Red Bulls, but having two games in hand on both. Kansas City hosts Columbus on Saturday, while the Red Bulls travel to Houston to take on the Dynamo on Sunday.
Head-To-Head
This is the first of two meetings between the teams this season. The clubs will meet for the second time in Montreal on Saturday, October 12.
In 2012, the Impact won the only meeting at Gillette Stadium by a 1-0 score on August 12. The teams split the two meetings played at Stade Saputo last season with Montreal claiming the first matchup 2-1, on July 18, 2012, then falling in the season finale for both clubs by a 1-0 score.

Impact News
The Impact is undefeated in its last three games (2-0-1), including a 0-0 draw with the Union in Philadelphia last weekend. In that draw on the road, goalkeeper Troy Perkins earned his eighth shutout of the season.
Perkins is quietly having another solid season. He’s tied for second in MLS with 12 wins and third with 83 saves.
Striker Marco Di Vaio still leads the league in scoring with 15 goals, one more than Camilo from Vancouver and Mike Magee from Chicago.
Midfielder and DP Hernán Bernardello, who will miss four to six weeks with a sprained left ankle, and defender Adrian Lopez, who suffered a knee injury in training midweek, will not be available.
Impact head coach Marco Schällibaum returns to the bench after serving a two game suspension following an incident during his team’s 2-1 over D.C. United at Stade Saputo on August 3.
Revs news
The Revolution is currently tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference with the Houston Dynamo, and holds the conference’s final playoff spot by virtue of tie-breakers.
In its most recent matchup, the Revs tied Toronto FC 1-1 last Friday at BMO Field. 18-year-old forward Diego Fagundez scored on a setup pass by sophomore midfielder Kelyn Rowe.
The two youngsters have led the Revs offensively with Fagundez socring nine times and adding six assists, while Rowe had five markers and seven helpers.
Another young player, 21-year-old Juan Agudelo has chipped in with six goals in just eight games played since being acquired by the Revs from Chivas USA in May.
Goalkeeper Matt Reis has returned to game-form after an injury and personal tragedy (his father-in-law was injured during the Boston marathon bombing) kept him out of the lineup. In five games played in 2013, he’s still undefeated with a 3-0-2 record.

The Impact will then return to Stade Saputo to take on the Columbus Crew on Saturday, September 14, at 2pm ET.
