MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced on Wednesday that the club’s training session on Saturday, January 31, at 10:30am, will be open to the public. Admission is free.
As part of this session, the first team will play a simulated game versus the club's U16 team.
With training camp just a week old, the pros will be suing the occasion to work on offensive principles. The U16s will take advantage of this opportunity to meet the MLS players and experience a pro training session.
The stadium doors (rotonde) will open at 10:15am and the session will end around 12:30pm.
The Impact is training in Montreal and will head to Mexico on February 8, in preparation for the first game of the home and away Champions League series against Mexican club Pachuca, on February 24, at 10pm ET (TVA Sports) in Mexico. The return leg of this important aggregate goal matchup will be played on Tuesday, March 3, at Olympic Stadium (tickets: marquonslhistoire.com).
Please note that the training session will be moved to the Complexe sportif Marie-Victorin in case of snow fall (7000 Maurice Duplessis, corner Albert Hudon).
