Impact forward Romario Williams was selected by the U23 Jamaican national team to take part in their final two Caribbean zone qualifying games for the Olympic Games, on August 14 and 16.
Jamaica will face Cuba in the semifinals, on August 14, at Stade Sylvio Cator, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The other semifinal will see Haiti face Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Both winning teams will automatically qualify for the following CONCACACAF qualification round. The final and third place match will take place on August 16 in Haiti.
Williams scored two goals in two games in the group stage, helping the team reach the next round following a 6-1 win against Saint Lucia and a 4-0 win over the Dominican Republic.
