Impact forward Romario Williams was selected by the U23 Jamaican national team to take part in three qualifying games, from June 24 to 28, for the 2016 Olympic Games.
Williams had played a friendly with the U23s against the Cayman Islands on March 8, amassing a goal and an assist in a 4-0 victory.
He has also represented the Jamaican national team at the U17 level, taking part in three matches at the 2011 FIFA U17 World Cup.
In Group 3 action, Jamaica will face the Dominican Republic on June 24, Curaçao on June 26 and Saint Lucia on June 28. The two best nations will move on to the CONCACAF qualifying round for the subsequent Olympic Games.
