MONTREAL – Forward Romell Quioto was called up by the Honduras national team ahead of three matches scheduled during the FIFA international break.
Honduras is scheduled to play three CONCACAF Nations League group stage matches this June. To begin, Honduras will face Curaçao twice in the span of three days. The first match will take place Friday, June 3, at the Stadion Ergilio Hato in Curaçao, while the return fixture will be Monday, June 6, in Honduras.
Quioto and Los Catrachos will conclude this international window with a home game against Canada on Monday, June 13, at the Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano.
Quioto was last called up to the national team in the March international window, captaining his side to a 1-1 draw against Panama in 79 minutes of play. The forward subsequently missed the final two matches due to COVID-19.
Quioto made his senior national team debut on March 1, 2012. He has scored 12 times for his country in 54 appearances.
