Last Sunday, at Centre Nutrilait, the Impact teams finished with seven points out of nine against the Boston Bolts’ teams. The U15 tied 3-3, the U17 won 2-0 and the U19 won 4-1.
A draw for the Impact U15
The Bolts were right behind the Impact in the Northeast division standings before this one kicked off. The good news is that they still are. The bad news is that the Impact wasn’t able to increase the gap following a 3-3 draw.
Gabriel Antinoro gave Montreal a quick lead, scoring in the 4th minute. Mathias Béland ran down the right flank before passing in the box and finding Antinoro, who found the back of the net with his first touch.
The Bolts tied the game in the 27th minute, when they took advantage of a missed back pass. The striker took the ball and beat Matisse Hébert with a low shot.
Antinoro set the record straight in the 38th minute when he scored his second of the game, and his 14th this season, assisted by Jean-Aniel Assi.
In the second half, Assi scored the third Impact goal, assisted by Antinoro. Boston scored right after on a mistake from the goalkeeper and a few minutes later, they brought themselves level at 3-3.
The Impact had a chance to regain its lead when midfielder Maël Henry was fouled just outside the box, but the goalkeeper saved the ensuing set piece effort.
With the draw, the Impact U15 remains one of only eight unbeaten teams in the 90-team league.
Clean sheet for the Impact U17
In this 2-0 clean sheet win, the Impact U17 faced an excellent goalkeeper that prevented a much larger score.
Forward Mouhamadou Kane still managed to score the first goal in the 34th minute, beating the keeper with a low shot after defender Maxime Bourgeois found him with a deep pass.
After making many saves in the first half, the opposing goalkeeper stood tall again against Jérémie Omeong with a goal line clearance. A few minutes later, he frustrated Omeonga again to keep his team within one.
Kane finally scored his second of the game in the 88th minute off a corner from Junior Kabwé.
With the win, Nicolas Gagnon’s team cements itself in first in the Northeast division and climbs to seventh in the league.
The Impact U19 wins 4-1
After a break last weekend, the Impact U19 started November on the right foot with a 4-1 win.
In the 13th minute, midfielder Calin Calaidjoglu’s saw his first shot blocked, but was first on the rebound and chipped the opposing goalkeeper. Three minutes later, after some nice pressure from Tristan Resendes on the defender in possession, striker Mujtaba Mirhasan was able to benefit from a mistake, dribbling past the keeper and finding the back of the net.
The Impact had a first scare in the 36th minute following a corner played into the box, but goalkeeper William Vandal and defender Lundon Durand Browne combined their efforts to clear the ball on the goal line.
In the second half, Tristan Resendes scored off a rebound from Mikale Fontaine’s initial shot. The visitors replied with a goal of their own a minute later.
In stoppage time, Moulay Belghiti scored after receiving a long cross from Fontaine in the box to make it 4-1.
Despite the win, the Impact U19 falls back to second in the Northeast division and third leaguewide with a 6-1-0 record.

Next weekend, the Development Academy Impact teams will play back-to-back away games on Saturday and Sunday. They will play in Bridgeport, Connecticut, against Beachside Soccer Club first and then in Portland, Connecticut, against Oakwood Soccer Club.
