Approaching opening weekend every season brings with it excitement, but also a number of question marks.

Frank's debut
Yes, a season is long but it will be interesting to see how head coach Frank Klopas sees the game. What formation might he use? Did the team have enough time in preseason to completely grasp what he wants?
Injuries and suspensions
Especially on the backline, the Impact is kicking things off with potential starters on the sidelines. Add to the mix that Andres Romero and leading goal scorer Marco Di Vaio will be out, serving suspensions held over from last year.
What will be the starting lineup?
Two-game road trip
In 2013, the Impact went into Seattle and Portland, and came back to Montreal with two wins, playing with a significant time difference and against some of the toughest crowds in MLS. In 2014, the heat of Texas could be an important factor in Dallas and Houston.
