MONTREAL, Quebec - The Montreal Impact and TOXA are proud to announce that the television series "L'Impact vers la MLS," broadcast on TVA Sports in partnership with Videotron, has won the Gémeaux for the best sports or leisure show/series at the 27th Prix Gémeaux held on Sunday.
The series produced by TOXA, gave a behind the scenes look at the Montreal Impact's road to Major League Soccer (MLS).
"The Montreal Impact would like to congratulate TOXA for this well-deserved award," said Impact director of Communications Patrick Vallée. "We would like to thank Patrick Fauquembergue (producer), Philippe Lamarre (producer) and Hervé Baillargeon (director) who had pitched the idea and executed it perfectly, enabling all sports fans and supporters to live the Impact’s progression to MLS, by showing a lot of behind-the-scenes footage, a first in the club’s history. The series was a very good look into what we experienced from the inside."
