Impact keeper Troy Perkins kept his team in the game with a few important saves in the 2-2 draw against the San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium on Saturday. However, his save on striker Chris Wondolowski in the 14th minute will surely be nominated for the MLS save of the week.
Perkins, who has now played over 15,000 minutes in MLS, made a diving save on Wondo's header from point blank after the ball had bounced off the cross bar and into the box.
