MONTREAL – Defender Eric Miller has been selected by the United States U23 national team to take part in the 2015 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament in October.
As part of Group A, the United States will face Canada on October 1 and Cuba on October 3 at Sporting Park, in Kansas City, before playing Panama on October 6 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, in Colorado.
The top two teams from each group will play in the semifinals, with the winners qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Miller has played three games with the U23’s, against England, Brazil and Qatar. He also played with the U20 and U18 U.S. national selections, taking part in the 2013 Toulon Tournament and the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
