WATCH: Marco Di Vaio's hat trick vs Philadelphia Union

Marco Di Vaio hat-trick

Italian striker Marco Di Vaio bagged his first hat trick in an Impact shirt on Saturday in the 5-3 win against the Philadelphia Union. And he did it in style, scoring all three goals in the first half.

Di Vaio opened the scoring very early in the game, when he volleyed in a low cross from Andrew Wenger in the 2nd minute of play. Then, with the score at 1-1, the Impact's Designated Player scored back-to-back goals in the 29th and 32nd minute to give his team a 3-1 lead going into the half time break.

His third goal of the night also put him into a tie for the league lead with Philadelphia's Jack McInerney.
