How to enter the Academy?
To find out more about how to join the CF Montréal Academy, please visit our Identification and tryouts page here.
How much is the Academy?
At CF Montréal Academy, potential takes precedence over financial means. Thus, the player will benefit from a free program, confirming his or her abilities and commitment to CF Montréal.
Where and when do I find the link to register for the tryouts?
The registration link will be published a few weeks before the detection session. Please stay tuned to our social networks and website for more information.
Do you recruit U12 players?
We do not evaluate this age group. Our pre-academy starts at U13 and players are recruited through our RDP (Regional Development Program). The RDP is an annual program that targets U12 players across Quebec with sessions for each participating region from May to the end of August.
The program marks the beginning of the identification and development process for players enrolled in the CF Montréal Academy programs as well as regional and provincial programs.
Can I enter the Academy if I am a U18 player outside of Canada?
The FIFA has a strict policy regarding minors, and we cannot recruit minors from another country that do not have a Canadian residency.
What is the age limit to enter the Academy?
The Academy does not recruit players over the age of 19. Our next trials for the Reserve team in 2024 will address players born between 2005 and 2007.
How to enter the Academy Women’s Program?
The women's program has just started at the Academy. The dates of the detections and information on the program will be available very soon on the website and on our social media.
Do you issue RL-24 tax slips for your activities?
No, unfortunately we are not eligible to issue RL-24 statements as we do not meet the government's RL-24 criteria.
